| Priscilla Winner, Secretary | ||
| Priscilla Winner started as secretary of Freshmen Engineering Program on July 11, 2005, taking the position Patty Robertson has held with skillful hands for the last 19 years. Before FEP Priscilla was secretary in Materials Science & Engineering in McNutt. She started working at Missouri S&T Aug. 4, 2003 - the day the power went out in Rolla! Yes, she has an electrifying personality! Priscilla has 2 sons - Kyle & John (both married) and 2 grandpuppies - Zoe & Elvis. In her spare time (who has that?) she likes to do calligraphy. Her sons accuse her of being a neat freak, but that's just a wild rumor. She loves to bake goodies, even doggy biscuits for Zoe & Elvis! If you drop by her office, you might want to see if there are any cookies around. Priscilla has been known to bring them in for the students & faculty. | ||

Dr. Jeff Cawlfield, Director
| Dr. Jeff Cawlfield is the Director of the Freshmen Engineering Program and has been working on the faculty at Missouri S&T since 1987 after studying at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Washington State University, and U.C. Berkeley. He was recently the Interim Chair of the Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering, and he has worked previously as the Associate Director of Freshmen Engineering, Associate Dean of the School of Mines and Metallurgy, Department Chair, and Program Head. In addition to his work at Missouri S&T, his life revolves around his wife and two daughters -- and the two Yorkshire Terriers who dominate the home. There are other dogs that live at the Cawlfield home too, but the Yorkies don't allow them a life. Carlos the cat was forced to leave. Dr. Cawlfield teaches courses and carries out work focused on groundwater flow and geological environmental hazards. Dr. Cawlfield grew up on the West Coast and loves the ocean, mountains, and large Redwood trees; therefore, of an evening in Rolla you will sometimes catch him wistfully daydreaming and looking off toward the setting sun. |

Dr. F. Scott Miller, Associate Director
Dr. F. Scott Miller is the Associate Director of the Freshman Engineering Program. Dr. Miller has been a member of the Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering Departments at Missouri S&T for 18 years. He is also the director of the Advanced Materials Characterization Lab in the Materials Research Center at Missouri S&T. He has been interested in microscopy and "how things work" since he was a young child. He is also interested in automobiles, and chances are, if it is a beautiful day, you might see him driving around Rolla in the green dune buggy he built with his father when he was 13 years old! He also loves to watch his son race his Nissan 240SX. When you visit the FEP offices, know that Dr. Miller had nothing to do with choosing the colors of the walls!
